Girls dismantle Central at Bradley Park

The Washington girls cross country team easily ran past Central Oct. 1.

With each of the first eight finishers Lady Panthers, the visitors routed the Lions at Bradley Park, 15-50.

Rachael St. Clair notched the individual victory for three miles in a time of 22:05.

Kathleen O’Brien, Amy Learned, Tabea Spahn, Kelli Deatherage, Kassedie Dismang, Vallosio and Jennica Hipes followed in second through eighth positions, respectively.

Boys cross country

Washington and Central finished in a 29-29 draw Thursday at Bradley Park.

Spencer Wilson and Louie Manzella posted the Panthers’ best standings in a three-mile race in second and third places, respectively.

Jake Castor was seventh, Robert Riedel eighth, Nick Dalfonso ninth and George Burnette 10th for Washington.
