Suellyn Heller

Suellyn Heller, 65, of Washington, died Friday, March 20, 2009, in Morton.She was born Feb. 4, 1944, in Peoria to Lee and Josephine Baker Kunkel.

Surviving are two daughters, Kim (Rodney Sparks) Kirk of Morton and Jennifer Heller of Washington; one son, Tim (Christine) Heller of East Peoria; one brother, Roger (Mary Ann) Kunkel of Bloomington; and eight grandchildren.

For the past few years, she worked as an associate at Wal-Mart in Washington. Prior to that, she spent 10 years working for PARC.

She was of the Christian faith and during her youth, attended Low Point United Methodist Church.

She was a graduate of Low Point-Washburn High School.

Services were Sunday at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. The Rev. Pastor Bob DeBolt officiated.

Burial was in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Visitation was at the funeral home Sunday.

Memorials may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Crossroads United Methodist Church.
