Helen Mae Lippert, 93, of Washington, died at 12:28 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria.

Born April 5, 1915, in Lewiston to James and Cora Houston Keime, she married Lorin Lippert in Havana June 8, 1932. He died March 14, 1998.

Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Coral Kay Lippert; 10 sisters; and one brother.

Surviving are two sons, Gayle (Shirley) Lippert of Chillicothe and Jim (Kathy) Lippert of Morton; two daughters, Marjorie Yemm of Bartonville and Judith (Norman) Ball of Crystal Lake; one sister, Rosalie Dickerson of Hemet, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

For many years, she was a bookkeeper for Carson, Pirie, Scott in Peoria.

She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Washington Chapter for more than 50 years and attended Washington Christian Church.

Services were Monday at Mason-White Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Stewart officiated. Burial was in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. 

Visitation preceded services at the funeral home.
