WASHINGTON –   Sidney Michael Howley, 71, died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2008 at his home.

Born June 21, 1936, in Des Moines, Iowa to Joseph and Frances Louise Clyde Howley, he married Roseann Lorentzen June 4, 1960, in Davenport, Iowa. She survies.

Also surviving are one daughter, Christina (Stuart) Lewellen; two sons, Ian (Beth) Howley and Michael Howley; and four grandchildren, all of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his, two brothers and one sister.

He was a pharmacist, retiring from OSF St. Mary’s Hospital in Galesburg. He was a graduate of Drake University.

He was a member of Washington Christian Church and also the OSF Retirees.

Services April 16 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington.  The Rev. Jeff Browning officiated. 

Visitation was at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Graveside inturnment will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
