Pauline Sloan

Pauline M. Sloan, 87, formerly of Washington, died at 1:12 p.m. March 14, 2008, at Fondulac Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 21, 1920, in Mackey, Ind., to Grover and Hettie Burton Miller, she married Todd Sloan Feb. 19, 1949, in Princeton, Ind. He died April 5, 1980.

Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Decker (Fred) Fuller of Washington, Linda Woodruff Norris and Teresa “Terry” Paluska of Peoria; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Geraldine Skelton of Medina, Ohio and Mary Jane Raymond of Flint, Mich.

She worked at Lands Men Wear in Washington and Alden Catalog in Peoria.

She attended First Baptist Church in Washington and First Church of the Nazarene in Peoria.

Services will be at 11 a.m.   Friday, at First Church of the Nazarene in Peoria. The Rev. Gary Davey will officiate.

Affordable Cremation and Funeral Service of Central Illinois is assisting the family in arrangements.
