Washington Community High School Company members said farewell to the senior members during the annual Friday Night Live presentation.

This year's production was staged in the WCHS commons with a dessert of cheesecake provided by Barrack's Cater Inn.

Originally, the event was planned for Five Points Washington; however, because of a conflict the production was moved back to the high school.

Choir director Lara Reem said she decided to move it to the commons because it would provide a less formal atmosphere and allow the audience to be more relaxed and enjoy the show.

She told the crowd to imagine they were visiting her at home, which she added, the high school felt like because of the long hours spent getting ready for the event.

The production had a decades theme with songs from the 1960s, '70s and '90s. During one of the breaks, there was a "Name That Tune" game with songs from the '80s.

Reem said afterward she was happy with the turnout and added she is considering repeating the format again next year.
