Central Grade School eighth-grader Brooke Bambrick, wearing the H2O cap, holds a jar of water over eighth-grader Nick Lauss’s head during an experiment on air pressure.

The Central Grade School students took part in a presentation of Mad Science Crazy Chemistry Feb. 25

The students briefly learned about air and water pressure, lightning, thunder, fog and volcanos.

Central will be offering an after-school Mad Science program that will go into more depth about science. The program uses fun, hands-on experiments to make learning about science fun.
