WCHS hosts night of dinner, music, raffles, auction

The Washington Community High School Band Boosters invite all eighth-grade band students, WCHS band members and their families to Puttin’ on the Ritz Saturday at Crossroads United Methodist Church.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. by CBS Catering. Entertainment, provided by the WCHS band ensembles, begins at 7 p.m.

There will also be items to bid on at silent auction tables, three raffles of $100, a Wii and a specialized 21-speed comfort bike donated by Russell’s Cycle and Fitness. There will also be door prizes.

Deadline for reservations is Monday. Call Diane Briggs at 712-4037. This event is open to the public.

Tickets are only sold in advance. Tickets are $15 per adult, $10 children age 12 and younger or $5 for entertainment-only tickets.

WCHS band students who will be performing will be provided with pizza. They do not need a ticket.
