GED testing dates announced for March

The Tazewell Regional Office of Education is accepting applications for persons wishing to register for GED testing for March. 

Testing dates and times are 5 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday. 

Tazewell County residents must register in person prior to the test with the Regional Office of Education, 414 Court St., Suite 104, Pekin, IL 61554. Registration hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.,

Monday through Friday. Applicants will need, at the time of registration, an Illinois driver’s license or Illinois photo ID and $35 in cash. 

The testing site for the GED is at the Tazewell Building, 414 Court St., Suite 100, Pekin, IL 61554.

If interested in taking the GED test or for more information, call or stop by the regional office of education.

Those are 17 years old must provide proof of dropping out of school on school letterhead with the school seal.  

U. S. and Illinois Constitution study guides and complete GED preparation book are available for studying and may be purchased in the regional office.
