Lori Peifer's cooking classes are a staple of Washington's food scene, but her first lesson in August goes against the grain.
Eat Dessert First, a culinary lesson in dessert preparation, will be hosted at Lori's Kitchen Store — 110 N Main St. — on Aug. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
According to the Lori's July newsletter, the class will include a breakdown of how to prepare four desserts, including banana foster upside down cake and a caramel apple blondie pie.
The fee for the course is $40.
Six more classes are scheduled for the month of August. Each costs $40 and begins at 6:30 p.m.
