BLOOMINGTON — Two men with Washington ties are among the trio of finalists to become Bloomington's new city manager.
Jim Culotta is the current city administrator in Washington, a position he has held since the end of 2015. Previously he served as town administrator in Cedarburg, Wis., and assistant to the city manager in Barrington.
Tim Gleason is the city manager in Decatur, and previously served as city manager in Washington, where he was hired in 2012 and worked until leaving for Decatur in 2015. He spent more than 20 years in law enforcement and three years working in state administrative roles.
The third finalist is the interim city manager in Bloomington, Steve Rasmussen.
The field of three was narrowed from 31 applications, according to a news release from the city of Bloomington.
