The Washington Water Jets swim team dampened Splashdown’s spirit Saturday.
Washington won a 707-490 decision over the Sonic Waves as five guests won three events apiece.
Girls Megan Jenkins, Valerie Wetterauer, Haley Willis and Lauren Jenkins and boy Doug Wright paced the Water Jets.
In the 8-and-under category, Megan Jenkins was first in the 50 freestyle in :43.76, the 100 individual medley in 1:44.35 and the 25 breaststroke in :24.18.
Wetterauer recorded victories in the 100 free in 1:03.69, the 50 free in :29.23 and the 100 IM in 1:21.31 in 15-and-up.
Willis, in the 13-14 division, clocked the fastest times in the 50 free in :32.46, the 50 backstroke in :41.29 and the 50 breast in :44.24.
Lauren Jenkins was a three-time winner in the 11-12 segment in the 100 IM in 1:20.69, the 50 breast in :44.25 and the 50 free in :32.38.
Wright triumphed in the 100 free in :58.22, the 50 free in :24.94 and the 50 butterfly in :28.37 in 15-and-up.
Girls Alexondra Little (50 free, 50 fly), Alysa Buck (50 free, 50 fly) and Mia Waibel (25 free, 25 breast) all won two events apiece.
Camden Schmidt (50 free, 25 breast), Sean Martin (50 free, 25 fly), Christian Buck (100 IM, 25 fly) and Brennan Schmidt (100 IM, 50 breast) all were two-time victors for the boys.
Others who finished first for the Water Jets included: Anna Ditman, Brett Willis, Jacob Martin, Quentin Monagle, Mackenzie Olsen, Shae Campbell, Ben Rixstine, Jamie Willis, Adam Mattus, Ethan Danks, Grant Sander, Jace Mansfield and Sebastian Whiting.
Additionally, Washington placed first in six relays.
