On June 2, the Washington HOI Pony Panthers traveled to Richwoods to play a doubleheader.
In game one, Grant Glick pitched a complete game. He allowed two runs on seven hits, walked one and struck out four.
Charlie Ludolph and Jared Holloman both were 3-for-3 at the plate as the Panthers won game one, 8-2.
In the second game, Tim Wood and Isaac Fisher combined to allow Richwoods three runs on 10 hits, one walk and six strikeouts.
Zach Little and Fisher both went 1-for-3 at the plate. Little had two RBI and Fisher one as Washington tied the eight-inning game, 3-3.
On Thursday, the HOI Pony team played Metamora in the first round of Limestone Tournament pool play.
Josiah Rose, Ludolph and Glick combined to limit the Redbirds to one run on four hits and four walks. The trio fanned eight.
Little was 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI and two runs.
Dakota Bullard was 1-for-3 with two RBI, Ludolph was 2-for-3 and Rose walked three times and scored twice in a 6-1 win.
