Washington was in the upper half of the boys golf field gathered Saturday at the Quincy Invitational.

The Panthers collected 11th place with a 414 team total in which five scores are used at par-71 Westview Golf Course.

Zach Jacobs led Washington in an event consisting of 24 teams with a 79.

One shot back was teammate Zach Cronkhite, who had an 80.

Tyler Johnson carded an 84, Hank Stolz an 85 and Austin Wileman an 86.

Host Quincy fired an impressive 370 to win the team title by a whopping 25 strokes over second-place Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin.
