WAUSAU, Wis. — The Peoria Mustangs fell behind early and could not rally in a 4-2 NA3HL loss to the Wausau Riverwolves on Friday night.

Jared Wisely scored to pull the Mustangs (9-7-1-0) within 3-2 at the 9-minute, 27-second mark of the third period.

Wausau (4-7-0-0) put the game away six minutes later, when Mitchel Idalski scored his second of the game. Wausau led 1-0 just 2:05 into the game and took a 3-1 lead 3:23 into the second period.

Blake Finley scored the other goal for Peoria, which got assists from Jack Radley and Zachary Eddington.
