FARMINGTON — Farmington rolled over Peoria Heights/Quest 40-14 at home on Friday.

The Class 3A No. 3 ranked Farmers (4-0, 2-0) grabbed a 20-0 lead after the first quarter and scored 20 more points in the second quarter to take a 40-0 halftime lead.

The Patriots (0-4, 0-2) had a touchdown in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 40-7 and scored once again in the fourth as the final was set, 40-14.

Farmington quarterback Hayden Bradt was 6-of-9 with 135 passing yards and four touchdowns. Back-up QB Josh McMillin was 5-of-7 with 71 passing yards and one touchdown.

Blake Springer (two touchdowns), Dalton Powell (one touchdown), Coe Jansen (one touchdown) and Jaden Rutledge (one touchdown) each found the end zone to provide extra scoring for the host Farmers.
