MACOMB — The Western Illinois women's basketball team shot 33-for-65 from the field and made 47.1 percent of its 3-pointers in a 96-57 victory over William Woods on Tuesday night.

Taylor Hanneman made 5 of 8 3-pointers, and had 20 points and Michelle Farrow scored 18 to lead the Leathernecks (3-0) at Western Hall.

Emily Clemens had eight points and 11 assists for WIU, which led the Owls (2-3) the 43-24 at halftime. Peyton Greenlee had 12 points and for NAIA William Woods, which played the game as an exhibition.
