ALEDO — Princeville fell to Aledo Mercer County 26-13 in a Lincoln Trail Conference road game on Friday.

With the win, Mercer County (5-4, 5-2) extended its streak of reaching the football playoffs to 22 years.

Justin Janssen had a 10-yard rushing touchdown to extend the Princes (7-2, 5-2) lead to 13-0 in the first quarter.

The Golden Eagles scored on fourth-and-goal to cut the deficit to 13-6 in the second quarter.

Quinton King had a 90-yard kick return in the third to give Mercer County an 18-13 lead.

Rashaun King connected with younger brother Quinton King for a 13-yard touchdown to give the Golden Eagles a 26-13 lead in the third.
