Wherever you look, people and companies are constantly looking for new and better ways to do things to save money. I believe there is a big opportunity which drives by us every week.
Every Tuesday, the garbage truck drives up one side of our street, stops at everyone’s house, picks up their garbage, turns around and does the same thing on the other side. Think about that.
Why can’t we all get together and one week everyone puts their garbage on one side and the following week on the other? Half as many stops, which would save gas, less wear and tear on the trucks and save the garbage company time, among other things. If they can do it faster and cheaper, our garbage bills should be smaller.
