EAST PEORIA – Wilmer “Bill” Spencer, 69, died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at his home.
Born in Gibson City Sept. 22, 1938. to William C. and Pearl L. (Lower) Spencer, he married Barbara Lee Bruce Aug. 21, 1959, and later married Susan M. Wiegand on Dec. 26, 1975, in East Peoria. She survives.
Among the survivors is one daughter Amy (Josh) McCoy of Washington.
Services were Sunday at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. The Rev. Steve Wiegand officiated. Visitation was at the funeral home.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Memorials may be sent to Illinois Oncology Research Association.
