Hans J. Badtke, 55, of Washington, died at 7:08 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
 He was born May 17, 1955, in Wuppertal, Germany, to Reinhold and Brigitte Becker Badtke.
 Surviving are his mother, Brigitte Badtke of Washington; and his sister, Monika (Frank) Delia of Washington.
 He was preceded in death by his father.
 Hans was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.
 He was employed by Caterpillar Inc.
 Private grave side services will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Sewell NJ. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
 Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
