Tony Elliott, 76, of Washington, died at 7:40 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at his home.
Born March 10, 1934, in Lancashire County, England, to William Henry and Elizabeth Holmes Elliott, he married Jerrene Gibson on June 17, 1956, in Rockingham County, N.C. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Kevin (Rhonda) Elliott of Roosevelt, Utah; three sisters, Jean (Neil) Bates of Don-Mills, Ontario, Mavis O’Neil of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Wendy Reardon of Crest Hill; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Elliott worked for Caterpillar prior to his retirement and had served as an account coordinator at the Mossville Engine Plant.
He also was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served from 1954 to 1956.
Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family in arrangements.
Memorials may be made to either OSF Hospice or Rural Home Missionary Association in Morton.
