Frances L. Abbott Brooke, 86, of Washington, died at 10:33 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka.
Born on Oct. 29, 1923, in Lexington, Tenn., to Joe and Jesse Mae Olive Parker, she married Thomas Bufford Abbott May 22, 1939, in Dresdon, Tenn. He died June 8, 1977. She later married Vernon Brooke Aug. 22, 1986 in Peoria.  He died April 17, 1988.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and four sisters.
Surviving are one son, Tom (Linda) Abbott of Washington; one step-daughter, Diane (George) Wetterow of Peoria; one sister, Jo Helen Parker of Lexington, Tenn.; two grandchildren; one step-grandson, Glen Wetterow; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, James Daniel Bartsch.
Services were Tuesday at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. The Rev. Michael McCoskey officiated. Visitation was Monday at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Camden, Tenn.
Memorials may be made to her church.
