Maryann E. Davis, 83, of Washington, died at 3:44 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Washington Christian Village.
Born Oct. 9, 1926, in Danville to Leslie and Cecile Johnson Kirkpatrick, she married George Davis Jr. in Muncie on Nov. 19, 1944.  He died in 1995.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Davis of Fairmount and Patricia (Michael) Supp of Urbana; three sons, Michael Davis of Ft. Worth, Texas, William (Sue) Davis of Avondale, Ariz., and Thomas (Carol) Davis of Washington; two brothers, Robert (Jewel) Kirkpatrick of Westville and James (Myrna) Kirkpatrick of Fithian; one sister-in-law, Waveadell Briggerman of Peoria; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Davis was employed by Oakwood High School as a secretary until retiring in 1996.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grace Bible Church in Washington. The Rev. Adam Kipp will officiate.  
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Mason-White Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to services Saturday at the church. Additional visitation will be at 3 p.m. at Stearns Cemetery in Fithian followed by a committal service.
Memorials may be made to either Grace Bible Church or Muncie Baptist Church.
