Loraine W. Langley, 86, formerly of Washington, died at 1:55 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka.
Born Sept. 22, 1923, in Columbia, Miss., to Walter and Gertrude Hathman Wade, she married Walter Langley Sr. Sept. 18, 1943, in Moberly, Miss. He died March 27, 1999, in Peoria.
Surviving are three sons, Walter (Karen) Langley Jr. of Eureka, Gary (Kathy) Langley of St. Louis, Miss., and Alan (Alice) Langley of Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Louise Young of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Langley was employed as a secretary in the library at Washington Community High School for 15 years before she retired.
Services were Friday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. John Bates officiated. Visitation was prior to the services at the church. 
Burial was in Glendale Cemetery, with Mason-White Funeral Home assisting the family in arrangements.
Memorials may be made to either St. Mark’s Lutheran Church or the Apostolic Christian Home.
