David E. Kinsinger, 65, of Washington, passed away at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at his home.
Born Aug. 28, 1942, in Washington to Wilbur and Sarah Gresham Kinsinger, he married Linda Lou Post. She survives. He later married Linda Sue Knight in Pekin Nov. 27, 1982, she died June 14, 2005, in Washington.
Surviving are two daughters, Beth (Carl) Bishop of Pekin and Deana
Cook of Washington; three sons, John (Sally) Kinsinger of El Paso,
Todd (Trish) Adkins of East Peoria and Pete (Melissa) Adkins of
Peoria; two sisters, Diane (Jerry) Lloyd of Mackinaw and Kathleen
(Dave) Amundson of Marquette Heights; 17 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, serving from 1960 to 1964.
He was the retired owner and manager of The Game Room in
Washington, which he ran for more than 23 years.
He was also a lifetime member of the Tri-County Gamers Association and a member of Central Illinois Tabletop War Gamers.
He earned an associate's degree from Illinois Central College in public saftety and also served with the Washington Rescue Squad and the Washington Police
Department, where he earned the rank of sergeant.
Services will be on at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Mason-White Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Jones officiated.
Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from 6 top 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
