Dorothy E. Belsly, 88, of Washington, died at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Nov. 30, 1921, in Germantown Hills to Dr. Emil Lee and Ella Schneider Blumenshine, she married Willard Belsly Oct. 18, 1941 in Clayton, Miss. He died April 18, 1959, in Eureka.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Bolton of Fairfax, Miss., and Ellamae Renken of Peoria; two sons, Michael L. and Lester (Patricia) Belsly, both of Washington; one brother, Robert (Carolyn) Blumenshine of Washington; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by one son, Howard Belsly, and two brothers.
Belsly worked as a beautician, operating “Dottie Ann’s” in Washington prior to her retirement.
Services were Sunday at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. John Rothfusz officiated. 
Visitation was Saturday at Mason-White Funeral Home and prior to services at the church.
Burial followed in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. 
Memorials may be made to either Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Peoria South Side Mission.
