ALTOONA — Grace V. Wertman, 99, of Washington, formerly of Altoona, Pa., died Aug. 19, 2010, at Washington Christian Village.  
Born Aug. 13, 1911, in Blue Knob, Pa., to James G. and Annie J. (Robbins) Long, she married Charles D. “Lefty” Wertman Dec. 22, 1936, in Wheeling, W.Va. He died Aug. 29, 1980.  
Surviving are three children, Marjorie A. DelCanto of Sarasota, Fla., Tom D. (Marty)  Wertman of Altoona, Pa., and Debra K. (Phil) Hansen of Washington; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.  
She was preceded in death by one son, Richard E. Wertman; two brothers, Wilbert and Ben Long; and two sisters, Mildred Stombaugh and Madora Long.
