Viola W. Hribar, 93, of Washington and formerly of Lincoln, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Washington Christian Village in Washington.
Born Dec. 28, 1916 in Hartsburg, to William and Minnie Winkel Burger, she married John R. Hribar Feb. 28, 1938, in Chicago. He died March 23, 2004, in Lincoln.
Surviving are three children, Marian (Derrell) Jones of Washington, John R. Hribar Jr. of Cary, N.C., and Sandra (Robert) Strantz of Fishers, Ind.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Hribar worked for Lincoln State School until retiring in 1982.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lincoln. The Rev. Jeffrey G. Laible will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.
