Delmar D. Cunningham, 78, of Washington, died at 9 a.m. Feb. 8, 2010, at his home.
Born April 2, 1931, in Minonk to Noble and Louise Funk Cunningham, he married Donna Shetler in Peoria June 27, 1964. She survives.
Also surviving are six sons, Dan (Janice) Cunningham of East Peoria, Jim Cunningham of Peoria Heights, Terry (Shelly) Cunningham of Washington, Richard (Jeannie) Goff and Tom Goff, both of Clinton, and Steve Goff of Shippensburg, Penn.; two daughters, Barbara (Steele) Westphale of St. Louis and Shelly (John) Paranto of Peoria Heights; four brothers, Ken (Lucille) Cunningham, Duane (Ivanelle) Cunningham and Gene (Elaine) Cunningham, all of Minonk, and Bill (Ruth) Cunningham of Lexington; one sister, Marjorie Kettwich of Minonk; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Cunningham.
A veteran of the Korean War, Delmar served in the United States Marine Corps.
He worked for Keystone Wire & Steel for 38 years prior to his retirement in 1993. Following his retirement, he then worked for Dollar Rental Car in Peoria.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mason-White Funeral Home. The Rev. Bob Martin will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will be in Minonk Township Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Methodist Hospice.
