WASHINGTON — Ludie Mae Bradford, 88, of Washington died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Pekin Manor in Pekin.
Born July 2, 1923, in Collins, Ark., to Dr. Robert Newton and Ludie Tindell Smith, she married GW Bradford Sr. May 18, 1948, in Arkansas; he preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1986.
WASHINGTON — JoAnn Elliott, 75, of Washington died at 1:42 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born March 17, 1936, in Hope, Ark., to Raymond and Erma Bonner Rice, she married John E. Elliott May 19, 1957, in Peoria; he preceded her in death Oct. 10, 1985 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
WASHINGTON — Steven J. Hayworth Jr., 34, of Washington died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at 5:15 p.m. in rural Williamsfield.
He was born Nov. 3, 1977, in Peoria to Steven J. Sr. and Julia A. Link Hayworth. His mother preceded him in death on July 2, 2007, in Peoria.
WASHINGTON — Irene Leigh Gordon, 79, of Washington died at 9:23 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 11, 2012.
Born in Swinton, Lancashire, England June 26, 1932 to George Irwin and Ethel Young Leigh, she married Phillip Gordon Aug. 7, 1952, in Monton, Eccles, Lancashire, England; he survives.
WASHINGTON — Brian D. Wisher, 66, of Washington, died at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Dec. 31, 1945, in Decatur, to Lyman “Bud” and Margaret Bennett Wisher, he married Jeri L. Sterchi on Aug. 16, 1969, in Olney. She preceded him in death on Aug. 16, 2008, in Washington. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sharon Sebok.

WASHINGTON — Nicole “Nyckie” A. Gorman, 34, formerly of Washington, died at 5:05 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at Methodist Medical Center.
Born Oct. 18, 1977, in Peoria to Les and Penny Schwarz Wright. She married Timothy Gorman in Peoria Aug. 31, 2002; he survives.
Also surviving is her son, Andrew; her parents of Washington; two sisters, Kimberly (Christopher) Wolfe of O’Fallon and Angela (Robert) Bonjour of Pekin; her in-laws, Bob and Betty Gorman of Peoria; and her grandparents, Wilma and Leonard Schwarz of Pekin and Barbara and Odell Wright of East Peoria.
She was an MRI CT Technologist and also a phlebotamist. She had worked for American Red Cross, Peoria Imaging, Hopedale Medical Complex, Lake Forest Hospital and Greenberg Radiology in Highland Park.
She was a 1996 graduate of Washington Community High School and earned an associate degree in X-Ray Technology from ICC. During high school and college Nyckie was a cheerleader.
She was on the board of the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind and was active in several brain tumor support groups worldwide.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Washington and had served as vice-president of the Central Southern Illinois Synod Youth Board.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with the Revs. Dick Hanson, Tom Kreiger and Tom Christell officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria. Mason-White Funeral Home is assisting the family in arrangements.

WASHINGTON — Ruth Louise Yates, 79, formerly of Morton, died at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Washington Christian Village.
Born Jan. 2, 1932, in Beaver Creek to Clyde and Mabel (Prince) Poore, she married Donald Yates April 30, 1951, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Janette Marie Yates.
WASHINGTON — Helen F. Manier, 90, of Washington died at 5:45 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at Washington Christian Village in Washington.
Born Sept. 7, 1921, in Herrin to Ernest H. and Iva Lee Noonan Redman, she married Brooks Manier March 22, 1942, in Searcy, Ark. He preceded her in death Oct. 3, 2004, in Peoria.
WASHINGTON — Linda A. McIntosh, 50, of Washington, died at 10:58 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born Oct. 2, 1961, in Peoria to William and Norma Lehman Sleeth, she married Terry McIntosh in Peoria June 29, 1985; he survives.
WASHINGTON — Robert N. “Bob” Forgason, 80, of Washington, died at 2:50 p.m. Monday Dec. 19, 2011, at Washington Christian Village surrounded by his family.
Born June 26, 1931, in Rector, Ark., to Harry B. and Callie Gibbs Forgason, he married Linda Claudin in 1960 in Peoria. She preceded him in death on April 25, 1976. He later married Kathy L. White on September 1, 1979, in Peoria; she survives.
