Andrew Rinehart and John Redlingshafer, candidates seeking two of seven Republican nominations to the Tazewell County Board (District 3) in the March 20 primary election will host a “Meet and Greet” from 7-9 a.m. Feb. 28 at The Blend, 1130 Peoria Street.
Andrew and John invite all area residents to join them and discuss their candidacies for the Tazewell County Board. They also invite all other candidates on the 2012 ballot to join them.
“We continue to receive tremendous support for hosting a joint meet and greet,” Rinehart said.
Redlingshafer added, “We both feel it should not be taboo for people in the same race to get to know each other and work together to ensure the public has a chance to get to know them before they step into the voting booth.”
There are eight candidates running for the seven Republican nominations, and both Rinehart and Redlingshafer feel they would bring renewed energy and professional experience (as practicing attorneys) to the Tazewell County Board.
Rinehart lives in Washington Township with his wife, Stephanie and their son.
