Parents of the couple are James and Carol Petersen of Shorewood and Mike and Judy Julien of Bloomington, formerly of Washington.

The bride wore a strapless white gown with split front shirt gathered with broach, lace-up back with semi cathedral train. Her rounded bouquet consisted of white flowers with accents of lavender and soft pink lilies, roses and hydrangea.
Matron of honor was Jennifer Danielson of Shorewood, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Heather Bollaert and Erika Arnhart, both of Bloomington, friends of the bride, Tiffany Taylor of Normal, friend of the bride, Elizabeth Hitz of Morton and Hannah Julien of Bloomington, both sisters of the groom.
Best man was Ryan Lott of Bloomington, cousin of the groom.
Groomsmen were Eric Danielson of Shorewood, brother-in-law of the bride, Chad Hitz of Morton, brother-in-law of the groom, Jesse Sand of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Craig Tackett of Bloomington and Jesse Lann of Normal, all friends of the groom.
Ushers were Dave Duguid and Rob Arnhart, both of Bloomington, both friends of the couple.
Flower girl was Kaylin Petersen of Bloomington, cousin of the bride.
A dinner and dance reception took place at the Marriott Hotel in Normal, followed by a wedding trip to Hawaii.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Joliet West High School and a 1999 graduate of Augustana College, where she received a math and computer science degree. She is employed at State Farm Insurance.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Washington Community High School and a 2007 graduate of Illinois State University, where he received an information systems degree. He is employed at State Farm Insurace.
