EAST PEORIA — Locally grown and produced items and area entertainers can be found at the seventh annual East Peoria Farmer’s Market, which opens for the season June 1 in The Levee District retail area. The market will run from 3-6 p.m. every Friday through Sept. 28.
Approximately 30 vendors will offer vegetables, fruit, beef, pork, turkey, flowers, honey, coffee drinks, sugarcane juice, homemade dips, baked goods, school spirit items, jewelry, wooden home decor, T-shirts including custom creations, recycling items and information, and more. Kids’ activities include face painting and balloon creations.
Live music will be featured each week, with the June 1 market showcasing the talents of songwriter/producer/performer Robin Crowe.
