MARQUETTE HEIGHTS — A Marquette Heights man is $50,000 richer after matching four numbers and the Powerball number in the July 29 Powerball drawing.
Daniel Quisenberry claimed his prize and decided he was going to simply put the winnings in the bank for the time being, according to a release Thursday from the Illinois Lottery.
Quisenberry purchased the quick pick ticket at Little Grocery, 200 McKinley St., in East Peoria.
He was one of multiple winners of smaller-scale prizes in the July 29 drawing, though no one won the full jackpot and the Powerball has continued to roll over. It now stands at $510 million, and the next drawing is Saturday night.
