Milan C. Oselka, 91, of Metamora, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017, at his daughter’s home in Washington with his family by his side.

Milan was a United States World War II Army Veteran.  He worked as a nuclear physicist at the Argonne National Laboratory in Lemont before retiring.

Memorials contributions may be made to Snyder Village in Metamora.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington with Pastor Gary Salm officiating.  Visitation was one hour before services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
