Charity Ann Rendleman, of Glasford, and Jesse Stanley Ringel, of Pekin, were married Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at First Baptist Church of Pekin. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Adam Penn.
The bride wore a strapless mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline and trumpet fit. Her flowers were succulents with purple highlights and white hydrangeas.
Parents of the bride are Kevin and Kim Rendleman of Glasford. Parents of the groom are Michael and Cherish Ringel of Pekin.
The maid of honor was Kaylynne Pincock of Glasford. Bridesmaids were friends, Shannon Hyneman of Glasford, Jessica Hyneman of Glasford, Veronica Lee of Glasford; and sister of groom, Elizabeth Ringel of Pekin.
The best man was brother of the groom, Benjamin Ringel of Pekin. Groomsmen were friends, Ryan Nelson of Pekin and Garret Robbins of Pekin; cousin, Evan Penn of Washington; and brother of bride, Josh Rendleman of Glasford.
Ushers were friend of the bride, Connor Flier of Glasford and cousin of the groom, Tim Glass II of Tremont. Sister of the bride, Rebecca Rendleman of Glasford was flower girl and the ring bearer was Samuel Garrett of Pekin, a friend of the groom.
A reception followed the ceremony at Pekin Country Club. The couple celebrated their honeymoon with a cruise to Mexico.
The bride is a 2015 graduate of Glasford High School. She attended Monmouth College during the 2015-16 school year and received her associates degree from Illinois Central College in 2016. She is currently continuing her education.
The groom is a 2012 graduate of Pekin Community High School. He received his bachelor’s in computer science in 2016 from Bradley University. He is employed by Fast Enterprises.
The couple reside in Baton Rouge, La.
