WEA schedules chance to meet candidates

The Washington Community High School administration will have one last tour of the building at 5:30 p.m. Monday for anyone interested in learning more about the proposed renovation.

Following the tour, the Washington Education Association will have a Meet the Candidate night for the six candidates running for WCHS District 308 Board of Education at 7 p.m. in the high school commons.

The candidates will introduce themselves and be given an opportunity to discuss issues in education, followed by audience questions.

The candidates on the April 7 ballot are Christopher Armstrong, Timothy Custis, Pamela Tomka, Shelli Dankoff McClellan, Brian Wisher and Susie Knoblauch.
