Washington, Ill. -

The seventh grade students at Beverly Manor Grade School in Washington invite Washington residents to attend the premiere of their “My 3 Words” project and video at 6 p.m. Thursday at Beverly Manor School.

This year is the second year for the seventh graders to participate in the “My 3 Words” Project.

The project is highly anticipated and enjoyed by the students.

The program consists of  stimulated writing projects throughout the year.

It can also be viewed as a springboard for word choice discussion and focus during writing pieces.

Even more than that, this project fostered cohesion and camaraderie among the students and helped us bond as a class to support a positive environment where respect for one another is significant.

This project was first inspired by “Good Morning America,” who asked individuals across the country to send in three words that described them and then compiled them.

After the success of the project last year, teachers said they were very excited to do it again with a new set of students.

The Red Carpet, Hollywood-type Premiere will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and last for 30 to 45 minutes.

Punch and snacks will be served. It is open to the public. Other projects will also be on display.
