WASHINGTON — Naomi K. (Payne) Wileman, 74, of Washington died at 6:18 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria. 

Born Dec. 6, 1939, in Wyconda, Mo., to Edward H. and Nellie M. Crandal Payne, she married Lawrence “Larry” A. Wileman in Denmark, Iowa. He died in 2010.

Surviving are two sons, Rikki Wileman and Mike (Tonya) Wileman, both of Washington; one daughter, Teri Jean Nester, of Washington; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, DeWayne (Patricia) Payne and Edward (Melissa) Payne; three sisters, Connie (Steve) Lemon, Wanda (Gary) Dowell and Yvonne (Dennis) Jackson.

She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Smith, Barbara Moore and JoNella Sabri.

She served as president of the school club, room mother, den mother and baseball team sponsor. 

She ownered the Dairy Dream Ice Cream Stand and was a head cook for District 50 schools.  

A funeral service was Feb. 21 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Visitation was Feb. 20 at the funeral home. 

Interment was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. The Rev. James R. Lillie officiated.
