The Washington swimming and diving team fell to Metamora Dec. 17 in a contest.
The Panthers placed first in three events at the Eureka College pool in a 112-72 loss to a Redbird squad that co-ops with three other schools.
Brennan Schmidt was involved in two of the Washington victories.
He won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:09.40.
Schmidt also swam the second leg of the Panthers’ first-place 200 medley relay.
Others in that quartet that clocked a 1:55.71 were: Tyler Ditman, Spencer Scheirer and Ethan Danks.
A score of 184.65 gave Ethan Dusch the top diving total.
Washington is off until the Jan. 5 Ram Relays at the Woodruff Technical Center.
