Luella Jean Schultz, 85, of Washington, formerly of East Peoria, died at 5:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at Washington Christian Village.
Born Dec. 24, 1924, in Peoria to George G. and Elsie Cruikshank Maxwell Sr., she married William “Bill” C. Schultz on April 19, 1947, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 2002, in Peoria.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, George G. Maxwell Jr.
Surviving are one nephew, Willie (Patricia) Maxwell of Temperance, Mich.; two nieces, Jeri (David) Groves of Loveland, Ohio, and Judy Maxwell of Washington; and many great-nieces and nephews.
She worked at Pabst Brewery and then worked as an office manager for F. Meyer and Brother in Peoria for more than 30 years.  
Services were Monday at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. The Rev. Jim Gorby officiated. Visitation was Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
