The Murray Center for the Arts announces its eighth annual Holiday Open House scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 11.

Join the artists for the event of the season when they open the doors to their studios and welcome the public. Tour the various spaces where fine arts and crafts are being created in Peoria. Take advantage of this opportunity to visit with the artists, see the inner sanctums of creation, and gain insights into the processes and environments that these people employ in pursuit of their art. Painting, sculpture, pastels, ceramics, printmaking, photography, glass and more will be on display and for sale at this once-a-year event.

The Murray Center is located at 100 Walnut St. on Peoria’s riverfront.

In addition to the resident artists, this year the Murray Center welcomes five guest artists, (Rick Melby, Carrie and James Pearce, Robyn Rognstad and Hiram Toraason.)
There is ample parking and this event is free.
