During the event, chamber members will collect supplies for Operation Santa ‘08, Christmas Stockings For The Troops.

Items needed for the stockings are TRAVEL SIZE toothbrush, dental floss lotion, Kleenex pack, hand sanitizer and lip balm.

Other items needed are individual sized gum (sugar free), hard candy, Tootsie Rolls, Sweet Tarts, hot chocolate envelopes, Crystal Light (all flavors), breath mints, Rice Krispie treats, beef jerky/beef sticks, energy bars, AA batteries, black socks, cards and letters of support.

A Christmas card or note goes into each soldier’s stocking. Simply address a card to  “Dear Hero.”  Monetary donations are also accepted, payable to Operation Santa.
