Washington creamed the Limestone girls tennis team for the second time in less than a week Sept. 16.

The Lady Panthers did not lose a set against the Rockets in a 9-0 win that boosted their Mid-Illini Conference record to 1-2.

In singles, Washington’s Sara Ohlman (6-2, 6-1), Catrina Hollaway (6-0, 6-2), Quinlan Duchaine (6-2, 6-2), Chandler Duchaine (7-5, 6-3), Paige Marchini (6-2, 6-1) and Karissa Nulty (6-3, 6-1) all won.

In doubles, the Lady Panthers combinations of Ohlman/Quinlan Duchaine (6-0, 6-0), Hollaway/Marchini (6-1, 6-2) and Brooke Schoenbeck/Erin Clark (6-2, 6-3) all triumphed.

Washington moved into a tie with East Peoria for fifth place in the league.

Washington improved to 5-3 in duals this fall as it again did not lose a set.

Only one set in the nine matches contested even was close as the Lady Panthers celebrated a dominating week on the courts.

Ohlman (6-0, 6-0), Hollaway (6-0, 6-1), Quinlan Duchaine (6-1, 6-1), Chandler Duchaine (6-1, 6-2), Marchini (6-1, 6-2) and Nulty (6-1, 6-0) slammed their singles counterparts.

In doubles, Hollaway/Chandler Duchaine (7-5, 6-0), Marchini/Nulty (6-0, 6-0) and Schoenbeck/Clark (6-1, 6-0) completed the Washington sweep.
