The Tazewell Regional Office of Education is accepting applications for persons wishing to register for GED testing for the month of October.


The Tazewell Regional Office of Education is accepting applications for persons wishing to register for GED testing for the month of October.

Testing dates and times are at 5 p.m. Oct. 10 and at 8 a.m. Oct. 11.

Tazewell County residents must register in person prior to the test with the Regional Office of Education, 414 Court St., Suite 104, Pekin. Registration hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Applicants will need, at the time of registration, an Illinois driver’s license or Illinois photo ID and $35 dollars in cash. The testing site for the GED is at the Tazewell Bldg. 414 Court Street, Suite 100, Pekin.

If interested in taking the GED test or for more information, call or stop by the Regional Office of Education.  U. S. and Illinois Constitution Study Guides and Complete GED Preparation book are available for studying and may be purchased in the Regional Office.
